About Us

The problem we solve

Running a B2B media & events business is hard.

You’re exposed to uncertainty, your competition replicates your successful projects and your audience becomes quickly distracted.

In this environment, a digital event strategy is supposed to help:

  • Keep your community engaged between event cycles
  • Validate new markets/events and build data before a new launch
  • Provide added value to your sponsors, casting a wider net

However, the verdict is out: Sponsors hate virtual events – it’s hard to build relationships online.

Without sponsorship, a digital event strategy is meaningless.

Jam55 is an online experience designed to address this issue at its core.

But, wait.. Who are we?

We’re a London-based team of productivity geeks who know a thing or two about ‘Organizer anxiety’: We’ve run Biotechnology conferences (in person) since 2015.

Like everyone else, we had to “pivot” to virtual during the pandemic, but the choices were less than optimal.

So we invited our audience into the lab, using technology to create a format that goes with the grain of human nature.

After multiple iterations, Jam55 was born.

Our Philosophy

Despite the challenges in bringing people together virtually, it’s the only way towards a sustainable future.

Yet, despite knowing this, we were once stubbornly opposed to the idea. We just didn’t think it made business sense.

(Also.. guilty as charged, we enjoy traveling and shaking hands! 😊)

Then we realized: Everyone wants it to work, but people need to LOVE the experience, not to think it’s “Good Enough”.

It was a long and arduous journey, but we stuck to a few core principles to make it happen.

We believe:

  • The goal of an event is to deliver both knowledge and connections
  • Online content should be bite-sized and well produced
  • Participation should be effortless
  • On-camera activity requires ‘social activation’ and incentives

These are some of the rules we applied to our development process. The result?
